Job summary

Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Full Stack) to design, build, test and maintain ARDC’s web-based services. The role covers front-end interfaces, back-end services, APIs and databases across the full stack, with deployment via containers and CI/CD pipelines.

The position can be based in Canberra, Brisbane or Melbourne, offering flexible working arrangements across a distributed team, and opportunities to contribute to leading Australian research

Qualifications

Experience working with geographically distributed teams in a matrix environment.
Experience in the Australian higher education or research sector; understanding of research infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain front-end interfaces for ARDC web applications.
Develop back-end services and APIs, including authentication/authorization integration.
Collaborate with product owners and UX to translate user needs into features.
Write automated tests and deploy applications using containers and CI/CD pipelines.
Maintain databases and contribute to metadata pipelines.
