Job summary

JLL seeks an experienced senior technical leader for full stack development across enterprise-grade applications. You will drive architecture decisions, implement CI/CD on Azure, and guide both internal teams and contractors to deliver secure, scalable solutions using Python, .NET, and the Power Platform.

The role requires mentoring, strong collaboration, and experience with government or security-cleared environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack development experience in enterprise or government-grade applications.
• 2+ years working within Azure cloud environments with DevOps/CI/CD experience.
• Mentoring or technical leadership of developers at varied experience levels, including AI-assisted development.
• Experience with programs using third-party contractors or subcontractors.
• Australian government project experience or security-cleared environments is highly desirable.

Job description

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for full stack application development
• Make architectural decisions across CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Power Pages portals, Azure API Management, and Microsoft Entra ID
• Act as JLL’s internal technical quality gate for third-party contractors and internal resources
• Deliver frontend and backend solutions across Azure cloud infrastructure, Power Platform, API integration, security accreditation, and data engineering
• Review and approve code, architecture decisions, and technical designs produced by third-party contractors
• Review and build Python and .NET Function App implementations for file ingestion, malware scan handling, disaggregation, aggregation, validation, and transformation pipelines
• Define and maintain full stack development standards covering coding conventions, branching and CI/CD strategies, security controls, API design, environment management, and documentation
• Identify technical risks, design deficiencies, and security gaps in contractor-produced code
• Provide peer review of code and applications developed by internal resources using AI IDE-assisted development approaches
• Mentor internal developers and run regular technical learning sessions
• Review and build read/write API integrations for Project Data and Workflow Data against the Client Integration Bus specification
• Develop Power Pages portal components for file upload, download, validation reports, Program Manager administration, and workflow status
• Review and configure Bicep/Terraform templates, private endpoints, Managed Identities, RBAC roles, Key Vault secrets, and Azure Monitor alerts
• Configure Dataverse entities, row-level security models, and Business Unit hierarchies
• Build a culture of rigorous, AI-assisted development within the team

Requirements

• 5+ years of full stack development experience across enterprise or government-grade applications
• 2+ years working within Azure cloud environments, with demonstrable DevOps and CI/CD engineering experience
• Track record of mentoring or technically leading developers at varied experience levels, including practitioners who leverage AI IDEs as a primary development aid
• Experience on programs with third-party contractor or subcontractor delivery models is essential
• Experience on Australian government projects, or working within security-cleared environments, is highly desirable
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent; or demonstrable equivalent professional experience
• Australian citizenship is mandatory
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance
