Job summary

Sociable Tech in Melbourne, Australia is hiring a Full Stack Android App Developer with React Native and Kotlin to design, build, and maintain mobile applications for our Transport Management System and Driver App.

You will work closely with backend engineers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to deliver robust and user-friendly mobile solutions, ensuring performance, security, and scalability in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Android App Developer.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science is desirable.
• Strong proficiency in React Native and Kotlin.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating third‑party libraries.
• Knowledge of mobile app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.).
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with AWS services and serverless architecture.
• Knowledge of database management (SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Understanding of security best practices for mobile apps.
• Previous experience in logistics or transport-related applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Android mobile applications using React Native and Kotlin technologies
• Collaborate with backend engineering teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless connectivity with services
• Enhance application performance, scalability, and overall user experience through continuous optimization
• Create and implement responsive, intuitive, and user-centric mobile interface designs
• Identify, analyze, and resolve application issues to improve stability and functionality
• Keep abreast of emerging mobile development technologies, industry trends, and best practices
• Contribute to code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of development processes and standards
