Job summary

Tyton Ecological Intelligence (Tyton) is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our product team. This permanent full-time role spans frontend, backend, APIs and spatial data, with input into technical design decisions.

You’ll work on TytonAI and TytonIQ core products, delivering ML-driven systems for ecological monitoring. Based in Leederville with a transition to Subiaco next year, the role includes a hybrid work setup, and opportunities to influence product direction within a global platform

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience delivering Agile software projects.
• Strong React and TypeScript frontend experience.
• Full stack background with TypeScript plus Go, C#, or Python, and flexible to adapt.
• Solid API design, scalable architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
• Real automated testing discipline.
• Curious about learning new languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Desirable exposure to environmental or scientific domains.
• Experience with geospatial or remote sensing data.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with and support your team members.
• Design, build and ship features across the full stack, including cloud infrastructure as code.
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code.
• Contribute to infrastructure and architecture decisions (GCP, Kubernetes, Pulumi, PostgreSQL).
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of processes and systems to leverage AI tools.
