Job summary

UGL in Brisbane is seeking Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians for opportunities across bulk storage, fuels, refining and terminal infrastructure sectors. Join a highly experienced team delivering solutions for Australia’s critical assets.

You will gain exposure across the full asset lifecycle, from concept and design through procurement, construction and commissioning, in live industrial environments with strict safety and permit-to-work standards.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified electrician or instrumentation technician with relevant certifications.
• Experience in fuel terminals, bulk storage, oil & gas or heavy industry environments.
• Sound knowledge of instrumentation, process control, electrical distribution and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on electrical, instrumentation and control systems at fuel terminals and related facilities.
• Install, calibrate, test and troubleshoot instrumentation including flow meters, transmitters and sensors.
• Maintain electrical assets including motors, switchgear, MCCs and lighting in hazardous areas.
• Diagnose faults and support PLC, SCADA and terminal automation systems for reliable operation.
• Work within permit-to-work systems and safety procedures in live environments.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve reliability and uptime.
