Job summary

TRS Resourcing is seeking experienced Boilermakers/Fabricators to join a leading manufacturer of fuel tanker trailers and bunded fuel tanks in Sydney’s Western Suburbs. The role offers a long-term, stable workshop position with day shift hours and consistent overtime.

You will fabricate, repair, and modify commercial fuel transport equipment in a well-equipped workshop, reading drawings, setting up jigs, and performing welding across steel, aluminium, and stainless sectors.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Boilermaking/Fabrication.
• Strong welding and fabrication experience.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience setting up and working from jigs.
• Sound mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Capable of working independently and prioritising tasks.
• Current Australian working rights in place.
• Residence in Sydney metro area.
• Two recent work-related references.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate structural steel components and weld to spec.
• Weld aluminium and stainless-steel sections.
• Read and interpret engineering/workshop drawings.
• Set up jigs and execute fabrication assemblies.
• Perform general workshop fabrication and repairs.
• Carry out fuel tanker trailer maintenance and modifications.
