Job summary

TRS Resourcing is recruiting a Trade Qualified Boilermaker for a permanent full-time role in Melbourne's Western Suburbs. You will join a stable heavy fabrication team, performing welding and fabrication on structural steel to engineering drawings.

The role offers regular daytime hours (6:00 am–2:00 pm) with overtime opportunities and a competitive hourly rate, plus superannuation. Melbourne-based applicants with Australian working rights are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised Boilermaker/Fabrication Trade Qualification.
• Demonstrated heavy fabrication experience.
• Strong MIG welding skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Good mechanical aptitude and precision.

Responsibilities

• Heavy fabrication and welding of structural and heavy-gauge steel.
• Setting out and fabrication from engineering drawings.
• MIG welding to a high standard.
• Measuring, cutting, fitting and assembling fabricated components.
• Interpreting workshop and engineering drawings.
• Completing work accurately and within production requirements.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
