Job summary

UGL is recruiting for a Technician to operate and manage aviation and ground fuel installations at our defence-fuel site in Australia. You will be trained fully and supported as you develop in a structured program designed for stability and growth.

The role involves monitoring fuel quality, compliance, and availability using SCADA/JFIMS while you gain experience in a high‑reliability environment. Training is provided, with shifts that include day and afternoon slots in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s licence; HR/HC desirable but not essential at entry.
• Australian citizenship and ability to pass a police check.
• No prior defence or fuel industry experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and manage aviation and/or ground fuel installations in line with compliance requirements.
• Monitor and maintain fuel quality through regular sampling and testing.
• Ensure fuel quality, compliance, volume, and availability using systems like JFIMS and SCADA; ideal for someone comfortable with technology.
