Job summary

Whittens, an Australian civil contractor, is seeking a Civil Engineer with FRP project experience to join the NSW site as a Site Engineer on a 2/1 FIFO roster. You will report to the Senior Project Engineer and provide engineering support to ensure safe, profitable project delivery while meeting contractual and quality requirements.

You will coordinate with teams on FRP scope, implement work programs, and perform QA/QC inspections while maintaining compliance with project procedures and ITPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Must have at least 5 years' experience post graduation as a Site Engineer.
• FRP project experience with a self-performing Civil contractor is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for the FRP scope, specifications, work plans and drawings.
• Implement work programs for allocated work packages.
• Coordinate use of equipment and materials and ensure compliance.
• Perform QA/QC inspections and duties as per the quality plan.
• Familiarize with QA manual, procedures, ITPs, test methods and reporting requirements.
• Prepare internal ITPs, forms and checklists.
