TerryWhite Chemmart Charlestown is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our busy, customer‑focussed team. This role offers both part‑time and full‑time opportunities with a rotating roster, including weekends, to support our frontline health services.

You will help customers with over‑the‑counter medicines, maintain store presentation, assist with pharmacy operations and use systems confidently, while developing your skills in a supportive, caring environment.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience and a genuine interest in healthcare.
• Have an eagerness to learn and develop your skills.
• Have strong attention to detail and a positive, team‑focused mindset.
• Enjoy helping customers and supporting your colleagues.
• Be willing to jump in and support the team picking up extra shifts or covering leave as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and support retail sales.
• Assist customers with over‑the‑counter medicines where appropriate.
• Maintain a high standard of merchandising and store presentation.
• Support day‑to‑day pharmacy operations, including housekeeping and stock awareness.
• Use pharmacy systems and computers confidently.
• Manage multiple tasks in a busy and varied environment.
• Exercise excellent communication skills to assist customers and appropriately manage and filter enquiries.
