Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Offensive Security Analyst to analyze real-world attack paths, model adversary behavior, and help build training data powering frontier AI systems. This remote hourly contract role focuses on structured adversarial reasoning rather than exploit development.

You will work with realistic attack scenarios to map threat propagation, defenses, and risk, delivering precise, written outputs and advancing AI-driven cybersecurity insights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in pentesting, red team, or a blue-team role with hands-on attack knowledge.
• Understand attacks from initial access to lateral movement to impact.
• Able to think like an attacker and clearly communicate thought processes.
• Comfortable analyzing complex threat scenarios and producing structured outputs.
• Detail-oriented and consistent; accuracy matters.

Responsibilities

• Analyze attack paths, kill chains, and adversary strategies in realistic environments.
• Identify and classify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and defensive gaps.
• Review red-team scenarios and intrusion narratives for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate, label, and validate adversarial reasoning data for AI training and evaluation.
• Articulate attack chains, blast radius, and risk tradeoffs in structured formats.
• Work independently on task-based assignments on your schedule.
