Jobgether is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer (React) in Australia to join a product-focused team building high-performance web applications. You will contribute to UI design, development, and ongoing improvements, collaborating with web developers and technology leadership while shaping the architecture and tooling choices.

You will work on delivering robust, responsive interfaces with React, hooks, and TypeScript, with a strong emphasis on code quality and ownership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of professional experience building web applications.
• At least two years of hands-on React.js experience.
• Strong proficiency in React and creating responsive, high-performance UIs.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented and functional programming principles.
• Experience with React hooks, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture.
• Experience with state management patterns, especially Redux or Flux.
• Strong CSS skills and knowledge of modern styling approaches.
• Proficiency with ES6+ JavaScript features.
• Experience using Git and collaboration platforms (GitHub/GitLab).
• Understanding REST APIs and service-oriented architecture concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and workflows.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with the web development team and leadership to deliver features and support tasks, roughly 70/30 split between development and maintenance.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive, responsive frontends using React.
• Contribute to selecting tools, technologies, and development methodologies.
• Create scalable frontend architectures aligned with product goals.
• Build efficient UI with React hooks, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript practices.
• Manage application state with Redux or similar patterns.
• Enhance CSS for maintainable styling and performance.
• Integrate frontend with backend via REST APIs and SOA concepts.
• Lead code reviews and promote best practices.
• Resolve performance issues and improve code quality.
• Support CI/CD and contribute to workflow improvements.
• Collaborate to troubleshoot, maintain existing features, and deliver new capabilities.
