Job summary

Sonder Australia is seeking a talented frontend developer to join a small engineering team focused on rapidly scaling our platform across iOS/Android and web apps. You will craft high-quality, standards-based code, collaborate with senior engineers, and help shape the mobile and web architecture.

You will work on greenfield projects with flexible hours, aiming to support millions of users globally and to deliver robust, well-documented software that powers our safety and wellbeing platform.

Qualifications

• Frontend developer with strong ReactJS experience.
• Experience with Angular or Vue is a plus.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Google Maps.
• Knowledge of Test Automation (Mocha/Chai).
• Excellent communication and ability to lead in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science/IT or similar.
• Full working rights for Australia.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to build Sonder systems and apps.
• Gather requirements and communicate needs to team members.
• Follow best practices to produce well-structured, documented code.
• Ensure automated tests meet quality and coverage targets.
• Contribute to SDLC across planning, design, dev, test, deployment and maintenance.
• Implement required functionalities.
