Job summary

Rapid Global is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to design and deliver high-performing frontend and backend software. You’ll work with designers, product managers and other engineers to ensure scalable, maintainable systems.

The role requires experience with React/Next.js, .NET, and SQL Server, and you’ll base in Adelaide, collaborating with a local team. You’ll mentor juniors, own features end-to-end and apply CI/CD practices to ship reliable code.

Qualifications

• Experience across frontend and backend development.
• Proficient with React/Next.js and .NET.
• Experience with SQL Server or similar RDBMS.
• Based in Adelaide with ability to work in local team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain end-to-end solutions across frontend and backend systems.
• Build and deploy backend services and APIs.
• Manage and optimise databases for storage and retrieval.
• Apply caching, indexing and data partitioning to improve performance.
• Deliver robust, accessible frontend applications across browsers and devices.
• Implement and maintain design systems and UI components for consistency.
• Secure backend services with authentication, authorisation and encryption.
• Write unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and production.
• Use CI/CD and containerisation to support delivery.
• Apply AI tooling where it adds real value.
