Hiredbuddy is building user-facing web applications with a focus on accessible, fast interfaces. As a Frontend Developer I you will collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement requirements into polished UI components.

The role emphasizes code quality, rapid iteration in an agile setting, and ongoing learning of modern frontend tech. We value a degree in CS/Web Dev or equivalent, 0–2 years of frontend experience, and a portfolio or GitHub demonstrating frontend work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0-2 years frontend development experience, internships or personal projects count.
• A portfolio or GitHub repo showcasing frontend work is highly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and present data.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and suggest improvements.
• Work in an agile environment with stand-ups and sprints.
• Assist in maintaining component libraries and design systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI issues reported by users or QA.
