Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking a seasoned .NET/C# desktop developer to join our Technology team in Sydney. You will develop, enhance and support trade capture and risk management systems used by our trading teams, gathering requirements and delivering high‑quality software in a fast paced environment.

You will work in a collaborative, agile setting, partnering with traders and technology colleagues across the business, applying DevExpress, Docker and AI-assisted delivery to build reliable platforms

Qualifications

• 5+ years in .NET/C#/WinForms/WPF
• Desktop apps using .NET Framework and DevExpress
• Experience with Docker and GitHub development practices
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude for software delivery
• Strong software design, testing, debugging and support skills
• Experience delivering solutions across full SDLC
• Strong problem-solving in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Interest in financial markets and proactive learning

What role will you play?

In this role you will develop, enhance and support trade capture and risk management systems used by our trading teams. You will work closely with traders and other business stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver high-quality software solutions and support ongoing business growth. You will also contribute to agile ways of working and partner with colleagues across technology and the business.

What You Offer
