Job summary

The Kyn in Torquay, VIC is seeking a front of house junior for casual, part-time work. The role offers 5–10 hours per week with weekend and public holiday shifts required. You will support front of house operations, assist in basic cleaning tasks, and help maintain an orderly dining area.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented with strong organisational and communication skills, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and cooperate with staff and management during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate glass washing equipment to ensure all items are cleaned thoroughly and stored properly.
• Ensure cutlery and crockery is cleaned properly and stored correctly.
• Assist front of house and bartending team with basic cleaning tasks
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar area.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Work cooperatively and communicate effectively with front of house team to provide support during busy periods.
