Job summary

Vili's Family Bakery is seeking friendly Front of House Café Team Members for our Mile End or Blair Athol locations. The role offers ongoing casual employment with flexible day, afternoon and night shifts within a 24/7 operation.

You will welcome customers, take orders, prepare and serve beverages including coffee, assemble food items, and work with the team to deliver outstanding service. Prior hospitality or customer service experience is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Friendly and enthusiastic for Front of House roles.
• Experience in hospitality, retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
• Barista experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and create a warm café experience.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee.
• Assemble and present food items and light meals.
• Operate fryers and prepare menu items for service.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and professionally.
• Handle payments and maintain cash handling accuracy.
• Keep service areas clean and presentable.
• Collaborate with team to maintain excellent service during busy periods.

We are currently on the lookout for friendly and enthusiastic Front of House Café Team Members to join our teams at either Mile End or Blair Athol.

And while we may operate around the clock, we close on Christmas Day so our team can enjoy the day with family and friends

What You'll Do

• Operate fryers and prepare menu items to support efficient service.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and professionally
• Handle customer payments and maintain cash handling accuracy
• Keep service areas, displays and dining spaces clean and presentable
• Work closely with your team to provide excellent customer service during busy periods

• Friendly, reliable and customer-focused

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Previous hospitality, retail or customer service experience is preferred, but not essential
• Barista experience is highly regarded, but not essential
