Job summary

Protech is seeking an experienced Loader Operator for an immediate start at a busy quarry operation located in Ormeau on the northern Gold Coast. This hands-on role requires quarry or mining experience, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to meet production targets.

Immediate starts available with full-time hours Monday to Friday, with potential for 5.5 days per week. The role includes passing a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening, and working in a team-oriented

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s Licence with own reliable transport – mandatory.
• Previous quarry, civil, or mining experience – mandatory.
• Mobile plant tickets (Loader, Dump Truck) – advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Front-End Loader fitted with onboard scale systems.
• Load and stockpile quarry materials in line with site requirements.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.

Job description

This is a hands-on role suited to an operator with demonstrated quarry or mining experience, a strong commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to consistently achieve production and performance targets.

Pre-employment medical completed including Drug and Alcohol screening

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Immediate starts available
• Full time hours casualMon to Fri, with ability to work 5.5 days per week
• Minimal wet weather interruptions
• Ordinary hours $42.26 + Overtime rates

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate a Front-End Loader fitted with onboard scale systems
• Load and stockpile quarry materials in line with site requirements
• Work effectively in a team environment
