As a Team Leader, Front End Lending, you'll lead a high-performing team responsible for supporting broker-submitted home loan applications from receipt through to settlement. You’ll make an impact by:

• Leading, coaching and mentoring a team of 20+ lending professionals to achieve strong customer and business outcomes.
• Ensuring home loan applications are assessed and progressed in line with responsible lending obligations, policies and procedures.
• Driving a customer-centric culture that delivers exceptional service and supports positive broker and customer experiences.
• Overseeing the preparation and support of more than 100 home loan applications daily.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality and performance.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across the business.
• Supporting team capability through ongoing coaching, training and development initiatives.
• Monitoring performance, capacity and workflow to ensure service levels and operational targets are achieved.
• Promoting a strong culture of risk management, safety, health and wellbeing within the team.

• Proven leadership experience within financial services or a related industry.
• Strong people management skills, including coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
• A comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end home lending process.
• Experience managing team performance, resource planning and operational outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• The ability to think strategically while maintaining a focus on operational execution and outcomes.
• A strong customer service mindset and commitment to delivering better experiences for customers and brokers.
• Knowledge of lending industry legislation, standards and regulatory requirements, including responsible lending obligations, the Code of Practice and Privacy Act.
• Experience with lending and broker systems such as NextGen, AOL or Lendfast (advantageous).
• A Diploma in Leadership, Financial Services or a related discipline.
• A proactive, commercially minded and continuous improvement-focused approach.
• The confidence and influence to lead others through change while maintaining a positive and supportive team culture.
