Job summary

Pinsent Masons Vario is expanding its bench as a front-end construction lawyer to support a leading international property and construction group with complex urban regeneration, infrastructure, commercial, residential and social infrastructure projects.

You will draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a range of contracts and provide specialist advice on procurement strategy and tender processes, while supporting project teams and advising senior stakeholders on risk.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with a strong academic background.
• Top international law firm or equivalent in-house/secondment experience preferred.
• Flexible, communicative and adaptable.
• Enthusiastic about embracing new work cultures.
• Rapidly develop close, trusting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a range of construction contracts (including D&Cs, contractor agreements, subcontracts and supply agreements, JV agreements and project delivery agreements)
• Provide legal advice on construction and infrastructure law, including procurement strategy and tender processes
• Support project teams during bid and tender phases
• Advise senior stakeholders on commercial and legal risks associated with major projects
• Collaborate with external counsel where specialist advice is required
