Job summary

Precision Labour Hire is seeking reliable Dockhands for a busy freight client in Coolum, Queensland. These ongoing day shift roles start immediately with 4–6 hour shifts from Monday to Friday.

You will perform general labouring, load and unload trucks, and handle heavy freight in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have prior freight handling or labouring experience, be physically fit for repetitive heavy lifting (25kg+), and bring reliable transport and PPE.

Qualifications

• Previous freight handling, warehousing, transport or labouring experience is highly regarded.
• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive heavy manual handling (25kg+).
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused.
• Own reliable transport is required.
• Own PPE (hi-vis shirt, steel cap boots, work pants).

Precision Labour Hire is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Dockhands for immediate starts with our busy freight client based in Coolum.

These are ongoing day shift opportunities, and successful applicants must be available to commence as soon as possible.

Monday to Friday Role

Monday: 6:30am start | Tuesday to Friday: 7:00am start | 4 – 6 hour shifts.

Duties Include:

General labouring duties within a busy freight environment

Loading and unloading trucks

Heavy manual handling and repetitive physical work

Loading and unloading large, awkward and oversized freight, including trampolines, gym equipment and other bulky items

Maintaining a safe and efficient work area

Assisting with freight sorting and movement throughout the depot

Role Requirements:

Previous experience in freight handling, warehousing, transport or labouring roles is highly regarded

Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling of heavy and oversized freight (25kg+)

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Reliable, punctual and safety-focused

Own reliable transport

Own PPE, including a hi-vis shirt, steel cap boots and work pants
