Job summary

Qantas Airways Ltd is seeking Freight Ground Crew for QGS Freight. This permanent, part-time role involves working across Domestic and International freight, handling freight from small packages to larger items.

You will load/unload aircraft, operate forklifts, tugs and related equipment, and manage freight documentation using the iCargo system. You must hold a current forklift license (or be willing to obtain one), be able to lift up to 32 kg, and thrive in a fast-paced, safety-focused team

Qualifications

• Must have a current/valid forklift license or be willing to obtain one at your own expense.
• Ability to repetitively lift items up to 32 kgs.
• Willingness to work across a 24/7, rotating shift roster.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from aircraft.
• Operate forklifts, tugs and heavy machinery.
• Use scanners and lodge freight documents into the iCargo system.
