Job summary

ISS Facility Services (Australia) is hiring Freight Aviation Protection Officers for Perth locations on a casual or part-time basis. The role focuses on security screening, cargo flow management, and strict compliance with procedures to safeguard assets while delivering quality customer service.

Ideal candidates will complete company provided training to obtain Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (Cargo), pass medical and security checks, and be willing to work a 24/7 rotational

About The Position

This role plays a critical part in a national team of security professionals, operating screening equipment, managing cargo flow, and following strict procedures to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient operation—all while delivering a high standard of customer service and supporting seamless day-to-day activities.

You will be:

• Efficiently operate screening equipment to ensure the security of cargo and assets
• Keep things moving smoothly by managing the flow of goods and services through our facilities
• Follow process control documentation, including safe work method statements and work instructions, to maintain a secure and compliant environment

What we are looking for

• Willing to commit to completecompany provided trainingto gainCertificate II in Transport Security Protection (Cargo)OR currently hold a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (Cargo).
• Ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments including an Ishihara test.
• Ability to obtain an ASIC (Criminal history clearance in the past 10 years) which ISS pay for.
• A QLD Security License is highly desired!
• Hold an unrestricted driver's license and have own reliable vehicle.
• Availability to work across a 24/7 rotational roster.

About the Certificate II Transport Security Protection (Cargo) (TSP)

Aviation security is an important industry, to meet new and emerging threat levels, specific theoretical knowledge has been passed through Parliament as a requirement for all Aviation Screeners.

As the Employer AND Training Provider,we are in a unique position to guide and support you through theCertificate II in Transport Security Protection (Cargo) and40 hours paid On-the-Job Trainingrequired for all Aviation Screeners preparing you for your new role as a Freight Aviation Protection Officer, with our Registered Training Organisation.

This nationally recognised qualification is offered at the cost of $1000 (normally valued at $2000). This includes approximately 25 hours online learning plus5 days of paidpractical training delivered within our airport operations as well as access to webinars and online support while you gain your qualification.
