Job Overview

Job Title: Freelance Marketing Assistant

Contract: Freelance/Contract - 1-2 days a week (up to approx. 15 hours) Initial 3-month project from November 2025, with potential to extend

Salary: $50-55 per hour

Location: Sydney/hybrid

We’re looking for a Freelance Marketing Assistant to join us on a project-based basis. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career, keen to gain hands-on experience across a variety of projects, from sponsorship activities to digital campaigns.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate sponsorship activities with medical societies and other partners
  • Liaise with key B2B customers to ensure promotional materials are up to date and provide new ones when needed
  • Support everyday digital marketing activities, including email and social media campaigns
  • Produce and update promotional materials (basic Canva experience required)
  • Provide general admin and project support to help campaigns run smoothly
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in marketing, communications, or business, or a degree in a related field
  • A genuine interest in healthcare, with prior exposure to the sector preferred
  • Organised and reliable, with good attention to detail
  • Comfortable communicating with a variety of stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Canva, EDM platforms, and social media tools
  • Positive, flexible, and eager to gain experience in a global organisation
