Job summary

Macpeople in Sydney is seeking a Senior Digital Designer for a 3-month freelance contract, to join a fast-paced retail/eCommerce brand and deliver high-quality digital assets across EDMs, social, paid media and websites.

You will own creative production from brief through final delivery, work across campaigns and product launches, and mentor junior designers. Proficiency in After Effects and Figma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Senior Digital Designer with retail/eCommerce experience.
• Portfolio showing excellent digital, EDM and social design.
• Experience with After Effects and motion design.
• Figma proficiency preferred.

Freelance Midweight Digital Designer | 3-Month Contract | Sydney

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Digital Designer to join a fast-paced creative team within a leading retail/eCommerce brand for an initial 3-month freelance contract.

This is a hands-on role for a designer who can hit the ground running, take ownership of digital creative and deliver polished work across a high volume of campaigns and product launches.

With Black Friday, Boxing Day and a busy calendar of launches ahead, you’ll be joining at an exciting time and working across a broad mix of digital and campaign creative.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality digital assets across EDMs, social, paid media, website and campaign channels
• Take ownership of creative production from brief through to final delivery
• Work across a fast-paced calendar of campaigns and regular product/collection launches
• Maintain a high level of consistency and attention to detail across all creative outputs
• Support and provide guidance to junior design resources where required
• Create motion and animated assets for digital and social channels
• Collaborate closely with the wider creative and marketing teams
• Manage multiple briefs, priorities and deadlines simultaneously

Key Experience Needed

• Strong experience as a Senior Digital Designer, ideally within retail, fashion, lifestyle or eCommerce
• A portfolio demonstrating excellent digital, EDM and social design
• Experience with After Effects, motion design and basic video editing
• Figma experience is highly regarded
• Strong understanding of designing for digital channels and performance-led creative
• Comfortable working at pace and managing a high volume of creative deliverables
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
• Available to commit to full-time freelance hours for an initial 3-month period
