Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk control, fraud risk, or risk strategy in fintech/crypto environments or related anti-fraud control experience.
• Strong understanding of fraud typologies and hands-on experience in at least one risk domain (phishing, scams, payment fraud, account takeover, platform abuse).
• Solid investigative and data analysis skills; ability to move from raw data to actionable insights independently.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze fraud risk across the platform, including payment fraud and account takeover.
• Investigate suspicious transactions, accounts, and user behavior using internal and external data sources.
• Translate analysis into detection signals, rules, and mitigation strategies with data science and engineering teams.
• Design risk controls, alerts, and verifications to prevent losses and protect users.
