Job summary

Momenta Resourcing is seeking a Fraud & Disputes Officer to investigate customer disputes and unauthorised transactions across banking products. You will assess fraud alerts, analyse activity and manage cases to align with regulatory obligations and internal policies.

You will collaborate with fraud, risk and operations teams, striving for accurate outcomes and strong customer protection while meeting SLAs and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in fraud operations, disputes, financial crime or banking operations.
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry.
• Experience managing customer investigations and case workloads.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to identify risks and escalating issues appropriately.
• Sound time management and organisational skills.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to support team objectives.

Responsibilities

• Investigating disputed and potentially fraudulent transactions.
• Managing fraud alerts and customer enquiries from initial assessment through to resolution.
• Reviewing transactional behaviour to identify fraud trends and emerging risks.
• Escalating suspicious activity and control weaknesses where required.
• Supporting compliance with industry regulations and banking obligations.
• Contributing to process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
• Working closely with internal stakeholders across fraud, risk and operations teams.
• Delivering high-quality customer outcomes while meeting service level agreements and productivity targets.
