XPT Software is seeking a Business Analyst to drive regulatory and policy-driven change across banking and financial services clients in Australia. The role focuses on translating regulations into functional and non-functional requirements while ensuring traceability through to systems and operations.

The ideal candidate will connect customer experience with risk, operations and technology, and bring strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Strong BA project experience delivering regulatory or policy-driven change.
• Ability to capture and document functional requirements clearly.
• Consideration of non-functional and control requirements and their implications.
• Ability to trace regulatory obligations through to operational and system impacts.
• Skill in interpreting legislation, rules, and industry codes and identifying implications.
• Comfort challenging gaps, inconsistencies, or illogical solutions.
• Able to connect dots across customer experience, risk, operations, and technology.
• High attention to detail without losing sight of broader strategic intent.
