Job summary

ThompsonCook in Melbourne is seeking an FP&A Manager to lead divisional budgeting, forecasting and P&L analysis across manufacturing and project costing. You will shape forecasting models, drive commercial insights and partner with operational leaders to improve profitability.

Reporting to the Finance Director, this role requires BOM and product costing experience, strong Excel, Power BI and SQL skills, and a commercially minded, hands-on approach in a large multinational environment.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified with FP&A or management accounting experience.
• Strong FP&A, commercial finance or management accounting background.

Responsibilities

• Own divisional budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and P&L analysis.
• Analyse revenue, costs, margins and key operational performance drivers.
• Work with BOMs, product costing and manufacturing cost analysis to improve cost visibility and profitability.
• Support project accounting, cost tracking and analysis of project performance against budget.
• Strengthen reporting, forecasting models, data quality and financial processes.
• Use Power BI and SQL to improve reporting automation and turn complex data into insights.
