Job summary

Skip is building a highly scalable data-driven platform for Australian home lending. This is the first dedicated data hire who will own ingestion, the model layer, and the analysis function, turning raw data into decision-ready insights.

The role requires senior capability to define standards, collaborate with Growth, Credit, Finance and Execs, and to build a self-serve data function with governance and AI-enabled speed.

Qualifications

• Senior capability with autonomy and breadth, 5+ years across analytics engineering, data analysis or BI.
• Experience owning a production data stack and end-to-end data layer.

Responsibilities

• Own the data stack end to end from ingestion to business-ready models.
• Model for trust with well-defined grains, keys and versioned testing.
• Establish metric definitions and a data dictionary for consistency across org.
• Build core dashboards and reporting relied on by leadership and regulators.
• Move toward a single source of truth and scalable self-service.
