Job summary

Octopusbot, a Sydney-based AgTech company, is seeking a Founding BDM to lead the full sales cycle across customers and products. You will build pipeline, prospect, establish relationships, run discovery and demos, manage trials, negotiate and close deals, and grow existing accounts.

You will work closely with the CEO, SDR, customer success, data science and onboarding teams, while maintaining accountability for opportunities and customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven sales track record in B2B SaaS or data product domains.
• Ability to build and manage a sales pipeline and forecast accurately.
• Experience running discovery calls, demos and trials with customers.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a healthy pipeline across customer types.
• Sell and close across growers, agronomists, grain buyers and processors.
• Grow and renew existing customers with expansion opportunities.
• Refine go-to-market approach and targeting for multiple regions.
• Improve sales processes, tooling and playbooks.
• Represent the company at industry events and partnerships.
