Job summary

Mackay Regional Council is seeking a practical, hands-on worker to perform minor concreting, formsetting and maintenance across the Mackay region. You’ll join the Civil Operations team and tackle tasks such as repairing pits, slabs, footpaths, kerbs and channels with a practical, safety-minded approach.

Ideal candidates have hands-on concreting or maintenance experience, White Card and a open C-class licence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with concreting, minor construction or maintenance.
• Current White Card and a valid C Class Open Driver’s Licence are essential.
• Practical, safety-minded and able to work outdoors as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake minor concrete repairs and formsetting across Mackay region.
• Repair pits, slabs, footpaths, kerbs and channels as directed.

Are you a handyman with concreting experience? This one may be for you.

We’re looking for a practical, hands-on worker to undertake minor concrete repairs and formsetting jobs across the Mackay region.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our Civil Operations team, you’ll work on a variety of minor concreting, formsetting and maintenance jobs across the Mackay region. This could include repairing concrete pits, slabs, footpaths, kerbs and channels. We’re looking for someone who is practical, reliable and safety-minded.

You might already be working as a concreter or formsetter, or you may be an experienced handyman or maintenance worker who is confident working with concrete and using tools.

What You’ll Need

• Current General Construction Safety ‘White’ Card.
• Current QLD Manual Car ‘C’ Class Open Driver’s Licence.
• Hands-on experience with concreting, minor construction or general maintenance.
• A practical approach and willingness to work outdoors.
• The ability to work safely and as part of a team.
