Job summary

Employer Sponsored Jobs in Australia is seeking experienced Forklift Service Engineers to service and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment. Candidates will join an established environment and develop their technical skills while building long-term industry experience in Australia.

Visas sponsorship is available for eligible candidates, with full visa sponsorship under Australia Subclass 482 / 186 Employer Nomination. Prior experience and trade qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Forklift Service Engineer or similar role.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Customer-focused approach delivering professional technical service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults using technical knowledge and systematic problem-solving methods.
• Complete on-site and workshop-based service activities efficiently and professionally.
• Inspect equipment condition and performance and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Test and adjust equipment following servicing and repair work to ensure reliable operation.
• Provide reliable technical support and deliver professional customer service.
• Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records and job documentation.
• Work closely with service technicians and technical team to achieve safety, quality and operational targets.
• Apply workplace health and safety procedures during servicing, repair and maintenance activities.
• Maintain tools, diagnostic equipment and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Develop product knowledge through training, mentoring and hands-on technical experience.
• Support customers by maintaining equipment reliability and helping minimise downtime.
