Job summary

Connect Staff in Loganholme, Australia, is seeking an afternoon forklift/pallet wrapper for our national client manufacturing and packaging plastic products. The role includes packaging, quality checks, pallet movement and forklift wrapping, plus cleaning of lines and areas where needed.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours. 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am rates apply; candidates with forklift licence and a safety focus are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Forklift licence required.
Hi-Vis shirt and steel-capped boots required.
Comfort with repetitive lifting and standing.

Responsibilities

Packaging of productions from manufacturing
Quality & daily checks of manufactured products
Moving of pallets & pallet wrapping via forklift
Material Hand - replenish raw feed and routine cleaning
Cleaning of machine lines and areas when needed

Job description

We are looking for an afternoon Forklift/pallet wrapper at our National Client manufacturing and packaging plastic products in Loganholme. Current shifts are for the day (6am-2pm), Afternoon (2pm-10pm) & Night (10pm-6am) Shift , Monday to Friday. Workers with similar experience is advantageous but not essential as able to train any suitable candidates.

The Role:

Packaging of productions from manufacturing

Quality & daily checks of manufactured products

Moving of pallets & pallet wrapping via forklift

Material Hand - replenish raw feed and routine cleaning

Cleaning of machine lines and areas when needed

Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)

6am - 2pm @ $33.85

2pm - 10pm @ $38.93

10pm - 6am @ $44.01

About you:

Ability to do repetitive bending, twisting and lifting and stand for long periods
