Job summary

Fuse Recruitment is partnering with a busy Marsden Park logistics warehouse seeking experienced Forklift Operators. You will split your day between Counter Balance and High Reach forklift duties, with manual handling, pick/pack, receiving and despatch tasks.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 9.5 hour days at a flat $45 p/hr, with Super and a temp-to-perm pathway. Expect a busy, safety-focused environment with modern warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Valid LF forklift license and experience operating counter balance forklifts.
• Experience loading/unloading trucks, including rigid and semi-trailers.
• High Reach and Aisle Master forklift experience is advantageous.
• RF scanning and basic warehouse software familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counter Balance and High Reach forklifts as required.
• Perform manual handling and pallet movements safely.
• Receive, despatch, pick, pack and inventory stock.
• Utilise RF scanning and WMS for transactions.
• Ensure accurate documentation and housekeeping in the warehouse.

Fuse Recruitment are partnering with a busy logistics and packaging warehouse in Marsden Park who are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to work 47.5 hour weeks in their warehouse facility.

About the Role

Your role will consist of both Counter Balance and High reach forklift duties. As well as Manual handling, pick packing and receiving and despatch duties. In this role you will spend 50% of your day on the forklift and 50% of your day off of the forklift.

You will work 9.5 hour days Monday to Friday on a flat pay rate of $45 p/hr + Super!

Key Responsibilities

Counter Balance Forklift:

• Loading and unloading trucks, Rigids, B-Doubles and Semi Trailers
• Includes Mezzanine loading
• Receiving and despatch duties
• Loading and unloading containers

High Reach Forklift:

• Operating both High Reach and Aisle Master forklifts
• Replenishment, picking and putaways up to 9 metres high (6-8 racks)
• No Double deep onsite

Manual Handling:

• Electric Pallet rider picking
• RF Scanning
• Manually shrink wrapping pallets (no machine wrapping onsite)
• Trolley picking
• Manually loading and unloading containers by hand
• Manual receiving and despatch work
• Unpacking, moving, and replenishing stock
• Palletising stock
• General warehouse duties to support daily operations

To be successful in this role you will have:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid LF forklift license

Skills & Attributes:

• Current forklift licence with counterbalance experience
• Experience loading and unloading trucks, B-doubles and semi-trailers
• High Reach experience up to 6 racks high
• Aisle Master forklift operating experience is advantageous
• Experience transporting pallets to production lines
• RF Scanning experience
• Experience checking paperwork against incoming deliveries
• Experience transporting goods to pick face, racking and staging locations
• Previous warehouse experience, ideally in a logistics environment
• Willingness to manually load and unload containers and complete heavy lifting work on a daily basis
• Strong safety mindset
• Able to manage both physical and administrative tasks
• Reliable, organised and safety-focused
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a small team
• Computer data entry and Warehouse Management System operating experience
