Job summary

Summit Recruitment is seeking experienced Forklift Operators for a busy global logistics company based at Lytton, near the Port of Brisbane. You will operate High Reach and/or Counterbalance forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse, loading/unloading trucks and containers, and replenishing palletised stock while maintaining safety and organisation.

Key requirements include a current LF forklift licence and proven experience with High Reach and/or Counterbalance equipment.

Qualifications

• Australian forklift LF licence required.
• Experience operating High Reach and/or Counterbalance forklifts.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety and safe operation in a busy warehouse.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating High Reach and/or Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
• Moving, stacking and replenishing palletised stock.
• Put-away and replenishment of stock within warehouse racking.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Following all site safety procedures and operational requirements.
• Working collaboratively with a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.

We are seeking experienced and reliable Forklift Operators to join a busy global freight/logistics company based at Lytton.

About the role

Depending on your experience and site requirements, you will operate High Reach and/or Counterbalance forklifts in a busy warehouse and distribution environment at the Port of Brisbane and Lytton. You will take pride in your work, prioritise safety, and confidently handle forklift operations within a leading global logistics company.

Key responsibilities

Operating High Reach and/or Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently

Loading and unloading trucks and containers

Moving, stacking and replenishing palletised stock

Put-away and replenishment of stock within warehouse racking

Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

Following all site safety procedures and operational requirements

Working collaboratively with a team to meet daily targets and deadlines

About you

A current and valid Australian forklift licence (LF)

Demonstrated experience operating High Reach and/or Counterbalance forklifts

Confidence manoeuvring forklifts in a busy warehouse or logistics environment

A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions

A reliable attitude, strong work ethic and excellent attendance

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to work across different warehouse tasks when required

Ability to reliably travel to preferred work location
