Job summary

Bunnings Group is hiring for a Frame & Truss centre role focused on assembling timber frames and trusses using modern tools to meet Australian standards. This permanent, reliable position supports ongoing operations across the framing process and inventory control.

You will work with forklift- supported workflows, gain training, and contribute to a safe workspace while developing broader skills within the team.

About the role

In the Bunnings Frame & Truss centres, we continue our long history of servicing the needs of Australian trades. In this role you will be assembling Timber Framing with use of the latest tools to ensure our Frame & Trusses are manufactured to Australian standards. With the use of the automated technology the process of building and assembling frames and trusses has never been more cost effective, safe and efficient, making now the ideal time to join our team. We offer consistent, permanent work that you and your family can rely on regardless of weather or season.

What’s involved:

• Load timber wall frames and roof trusses from 2.4 to 12m
• Be responsible for stock management, considering safety aspects when using a forklift, and ensuring a clean and tidy work environment
• Picking, packing, and dispatching orders
• Forklift operation
• Manual handling

Who we’re looking for:

We’re on the lookout for team members who are passionate about helping others and keen to learn and grow. You’ll love variety in your day-to-day work, working across areas such as the assembly area and inventory accuracy, whilst also having the opportunity to grow your experience in other areas. A personal interest and experience in the industry is always a plus, however we will give you all the skills you’ll need and show you the ropes.

You’ll need:

• Basic knowledge of timber and building, although full training will be provided
• Current valid Forklift licence (essential)
• Capability to work on the tools
• An ability to work in and contribute to a team
• To act with integrity, be safe and do your best
