Job summary

Daryl Dickenson Transport is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator/Store Person to join our warehouse team in Carole Park, Queensland. This full-time role involves unloading containers, operating forklifts, loading and unloading trailers, and accurate picking, packing and documentation to support efficient dispatch of steel products.

A current forklift licence and reliable, safe approach are essential. Working hours are 6am–10pm with variable start/finish times and Saturday work as required.

Qualifications

• Must have a current & valid forklift licence.
• Relevant warehouse & forklift experience.
• Available Monday to Friday.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Safety focused.
• Ability to accurately complete and maintain documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Overhead crane & steel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unpacking products from containers.
• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading trailers.
• Picking and packing of goods accurately.
• Ensuring documentation is completed correctly.
• Securing loads and load restraint procedures.
• Maintaining housekeeping and general warehouse duties.
