Job summary

Symmetry Human Resources is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Storeperson to join a busy Deception Bay warehouse. The role combines forklift operation with picking, packing and general store tasks, offering stability and a clear path to ongoing permanent work.

You’ll work Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm, with no weekend shifts and an immediate start. A current LF forklift licence and counterbalance experience are essential, along with strong reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

LF Forklift Licence is required.
Counterbalance forklift experience is required.
Experience in a warehouse or stores environment is required.
Strong attention to detail.
Positive and reliable attitude.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Basic computer skills.
Commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

Operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload trucks.
Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders.
Receive and store incoming stock.
Cut aluminium products using warehouse equipment.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
Assist customers collecting orders from the warehouse.
Provide occasional support with order processing and customer enquiries.
Work closely with the team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
