Symmetry Human Resources is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator in Deception Bay, QLD for a temporary, casual role. The position offers Monday–Friday day shifts, $34.96 per hour, and ongoing work with genuine permanent opportunities for a reliable team member.

Role includes forklift operation, picking/packing, customer interactions and general warehouse duties with opportunities to transition to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Counterbalance forklift experience required
• Experience in a warehouse or stores environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Positive and reliable attitude
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Basic computer skills for order processing

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload trucks
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders
• Receive and store incoming stock
• Cut aluminium products using warehouse equipment
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse
• Assist customers collecting orders from the warehouse
• Provide occasional support with order processing and customer enquiries
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely and accurate order completion

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload trucks
