Job summary

Omni Recruit is seeking an experienced High Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join a client’s warehouse team in South Windsor, NSW. This is a casual, fixed-term position with full-time hours (Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM) from 21 September to 13 November, with potential for ongoing work based on performance.

The role requires hands-on warehouse activity beyond forklift driving, including stock control, stocktakes, and general duties across warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Forklift Licence.
• Experience operating High Reach and Counterbalance forklifts.
• Proven warehouse experience.
• Experience loading/unloading trucks or containers.
• Good understanding of warehouse processes.
• Ability to read paperwork, stock information and locations.
• Strong attention to detail in counting and inventory.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Reliable transport and attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Operate High Reach and Counterbalance forklifts.
• Load and unload trucks and containers.
• Move stock and materials around the warehouse.
• Assist with picking and packing customer orders.
• Put away stock and prepare for stocktakes.
• Carry out stocktake preparation and inventory checks.
• Count and verify stock items.
• Bag and consolidate stock.
• Read warehouse paperwork and location info.
• Maintain a safe, organised work area.
