Job summary

Team Global Express is hiring a Forklift Operator / HC Driver for Gracemere, Rockhampton. This full-time permanent role runs Monday to Friday and supports forklift operations within our transport environment. You will unload vehicles, load containers, prepare PUD vehicles and ensure freight is handled safely.

HC driving duties may be required to support deliveries and semi-trailer operations. A strong safety focus and CoR knowledge are essential to perform duties efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• Forklift (LF) licence is required.
• HC licence or higher is highly regarded.
• Experience with forklifts in transport/logistics.
• Experience loading/unloading vehicles and containers.
• Strong safety practices and CoR knowledge.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load/unload vehicles, containers, trailers and PUD vehicles.
• Load, unload and stage freight within operational areas.
• Prepare freight for delivery and ensure safe loading.
• Assist with container loading/unloading activities.
• Carry out HC deliveries or provide coverage as needed.
• Complete vehicle checks and transport documentation accurately.
• Maintain forklifts, vehicles and work areas in a clean, safe condition.
• Follow all CoR procedures and reporting requirements.
