Job summary

Ellerslie Farms in Queensland is expanding its production team. Immediate start for candidates with attention to detail, efficient time management and good communication, to support our fast-paced FMCG warehouse operations.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will complete warehouse tasks, load trucks, maintain safety, and comply with bio-security rules. A forklift license and at least 2 years in FMCG warehousing are required, with reliable transport and willing to extend shifts when needed.

Qualifications

• Forklift license required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in an FMCG warehouse using LF.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet daily production requirements.
• Able to work extended shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Working with the new production team from Monday to Friday.
• Completing warehouse tasks to ensure the continuity of the production requirements.
• Effective communication with Production to ensure efficient supply chain processes.
• Loading trucks and consolidating loads.
• General warehouse duties including palletising.
• Perform all tasks safely and efficiently, and in accordance with established work practices and SOP's.
• Ensure all processes minimise waste and maximise productivity.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
• Participate in the training provided to ensure a high level of skill and knowledge of the tasks required.
• Understand and comply with all workplace health and safety, quarantine and bio-security standards.

Ellerslie Farms Group is an agribusiness that operates one of the largest poultry farms in Australia.

We employ over 500 people across our farming operations based at Millmerran, an hour west of Toowoomba in Queensland. Our operations are vertically integrated, covering the entire supply chain from chick rearing, grain production, stock feed milling, egg grading and poultry production. Key Responsibilities

About You ...

You will:

• Have a current Forklift License.
• Have a minimum 2 years experience in an FMCG warehouse environment using LF;
• Demonstrate basic computer skills;
• Have a "can do" attitude by working cooperatively and efficiently to meet daily production requirements;
• Be accountable for the work completed;
• Thrive in a busy and bustling work environment with strict deadlines;
• Demonstrate effective communication skills;
• Have an attention to detail to complete tasks in accordance with established policies, procedures and standard operating procedures.

What else do I need?

• Sufficient literacy and numeracy skills;
• Reliable transport;
• Sound physical fitness, with the ability to work extended shifts in a fast‑paced and time‑sensitive environment.

Please note- Candidates must be willing to adhere to strict bio-security requirements, which includenot keeping livebirds, chickens or pigs at home. You must be willing to sign our bio-security agreement to avoid contact with any avian species (birds, chickens, ducks, turkeys, etc.).
