Job summary

Programmed GO in Hallam is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator and Dockhand for the afternoon shift (3:00pm–7:00pm). You will operate electric and gas forklifts, load and unload freight, scan using RF devices, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining safety standards.

Ideal candidates hold a current LF forklift license with 12+ months’ experience, are reliable and punctual, and can handle repetitive duties in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift License with at least 12 months’ experience.
• Experience operating forklifts in busy warehouse environments.
• Familiarity with RF scanning and pallet handling.
• Commitment to safety and accurate documentation.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work afternoon shifts.
• Physically capable of repetitive lifting up to 25 kg.

Responsibilities

• Operating electric and gas counterbalance forklifts.
• Loading and unloading trucks and delivery vehicles.
• Sorting and scanning freight using RF scanners.
• Applying routing and handling labels as required.
• Moving pallets and freight safely throughout the warehouse.
• Checking freight weights and dimensions; ensuring safety.

Our client is a multinational transportation, e commerce company seeking experienced and reliable Forklift Operators / Dockhandto join their busy operations team based at Hallam.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating electric and gas counterbalance forklifts
• Loading and unloading trucks and delivery vehicles

• Moving pallets and freight safely throughout the warehouse
• Checking freight weights, dimensions and handling requirements
• Completing freight documentation and status updates
• Following all site safety procedures and company policies
• Assisting with general dockhand and warehouse duties as required

About You

• Current LF Forklift License(Electric & Gas) minimum 12 months experience
• Previous forklift and warehouse experience
• Experience working in freight, transport or logistics environments
• Competent using RF scanners and pallet jacks
• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual handling
• Able to lift up to 25kg safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable, punctual and available for afternoon shifts Monday to Friday as per roster requirement
