Job summary

Perfection Fresh Australia is seeking a warehouse assistant to support despatch, stock control, and packing operations. You will handle daily orders, pick-and-pack activities, and assist with forklift duties in a cold storage environment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the willingness to learn and grow within a large fresh produce business that services domestic and international markets.

Responsibilities

• Receiving & despatching trucks as required.
• Support preparation of all high care orders and stock for feed room.
• Prepare GRN labels and rotate stock (FIFO).
• Print daily orders for picking and prioritise workload.
• Collect stock, palletise to customer specification (pick/re-pack/stack/label).
• Check stock on arrival, weigh/count and print labels.
• Ensure stock quality meets customer requirements and report issues.
• Relocate stock to safe holding areas for despatch.
• Keep packaging areas tidy and safe.
• Assist packing lines & forklift duties when high care not operating.
• Maintain outside pallet areas tidy and safe.
• Notify stock management of mislabelled product and rectify.
• Be vigilant of open cool room doors and hazards; optimise product quality.
• Remove packaging and waste to waste area; maintain forklift cleanliness.
• Ensure forklifts are returned to battery area and charged when possible.
