Job summary

Collins Transport Group is seeking Forklift Operators for its Eastern Creek depot in Sydney. The role focuses on warehouse activities including loading/unloading, forklift movement between storage zones, and ensuring food safety compliance.

Overtime opportunities are plentiful in a family-owned business with long-standing service in fresh produce logistics. Successful applicants will hold a current LF Forklift license, have 2+ years of forklift experience, and be comfortable working in

Qualifications

• Current LF forklift license.
• 2+ years forklift operation experience.
• Comfortable working in chilled and freezer environments.
• Experience with palletised freight (preferred).
• Ability to adhere to WHS and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload refrigerated trailers (rear docks) and tautliner trailers.
• Restrain and store freight safely and effectively as required.
• Move products across ambient, chilled, cold and frozen storage areas using forklift.
• Operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Identify and escalate food safety & quality issues, hazards and risks.
• Adhere to food safety & HACCP regulations.
• Complete handwritten manual loading documentation.

Collins Transport is looking for Forklift Operators in Eastern Creek, Sydney!

• 2 x Full-time Positions with plenty of overtime available

• Monday-Friday: 7:00pm with alternate Sunday nights

• Monday-Friday: 10:30am with alternate 5:00am Sundays

Collins operates a large fleet of refrigerated vans and tautliners, delivering both interstate linehaul services and local distribution of frozen, chilled, perishable and general goods.

Your role will focus on warehouse activities and will include:

• Loading and unloading refrigerated trailers (via rear loading docks) and tautliner trailers

• Undertaking safe and effective restraint and storage of freight as required

• Using forklift to move products across ambient, chilled, cold and frozen storage areas

• Operating equipment in a safe and responsible manner

• Identifying and escalating food safety & quality issues, hazards and risks

• Adhering to food safety & HACCP regulations

• Completing handwritten manual loading documentation

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• A current LF Forklift license

• 2+ years of forklift operation experience

• Comfortable working in chilled and freezer environments

• Experience with palletised freight (preferred)

• Ability to adhere to WHS and Safety Regulations
