Job summary

Cafeideas is seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant / Storeperson to join our Campbelltown warehouse. You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, including picking and packing orders, receiving stock and preparing items for dispatch.

This role involves handling bulky hospitality equipment and furniture, requires a current Australian forklift licence, and a practical, team-oriented approach to maintaining a safe and well-organised warehouse.

Qualifications

• Current Australian forklift licence – essential.
• Previous warehouse, storeperson or logistics experience preferred.
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting bulky or heavy products.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a small team.
• Good attention to detail when picking and checking orders.
• Able to follow instructions and work independently when required.
• Good understanding of warehouse safety.
• Reasonable level of physical fitness.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse operations.
• Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles.
• Unload shipping containers and incoming stock.
• Operate a forklift safely when receiving, moving and dispatching stock.
• Check incoming deliveries against paperwork and report discrepancies or damage.
• Organise and store stock correctly within the warehouse.
• Prepare furniture and commercial equipment for dispatch.
• Assist with palletising and wrapping interstate freight.
• Keep warehouse aisles, storage areas and workspaces clean, organised and safe.
