Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking a hands-on Labourer for an immediate start in the Sydney area. The role involves general labouring, operating forklifts, and supporting weighbridge operations within a waste management site.

You will use radios and WhatsApp for team communication, handle materials responsibly, and maintain cleanliness and safety across the site. A Class C license and basic computer skills are required, with weighbridge experience desirable.

Qualifications

• Licence required: Australian Class C.
• Proficient computer and communication skills.
• Experience with weighbridge operations is desirable.

$38.84 per hour + penalties

Monday – Friday | 6:00am – 2:00pm

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform general labouring and waste management duties across the site.
• Operate forklifts to move and dispose of waste in accordance with client requirements.
• Use computers, radios and communication platforms such as WhatsApp to communicate with the team and support weighbridge operations.
• Sort and handle materials including paper and plastic and load products into containers.
• Complete cleaning duties and maintain clean and safe working areas.
• Prepare plant, machinery and work areas as required.
• Complete records and paperwork accurately and maintain a professional level of customer service.

What You Will Need

• Current Australian Class C Driver’s Licence.
• Confident computer and communication skills, including using radios and WhatsApp.
• Ability to work safely and independently in a hands-on environment.
• Experience in waste management or weighbridge operations is desirable.
• Computer literacy and experience with weighbridge software will be highly regarded.
