Job summary

Category 5 Labour Management is seeking a casual forklift operator at Laverton, VIC. You will operate forklifts to load/unload waste containers, move materials on site, and assist with general labour tasks including lifting and sorting.

The role requires a Forklift Licence, reliability, and the ability to perform repetitive, safety-critical tasks. You must be able to lift up to 25 kg unassisted and follow site safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload and transport legacy waste containers.
• Segregate waste streams per safety regulations.
• Assist decontamination, packaging and storage of waste.
• Assist with manual loading/unloading and waste handling.
• Support general labour tasks: lifting, sorting, and facility upkeep.
• Able to lift up to 25 kg unassisted.

Roster: Casual duration | Working Monday to Thursday 2.15pm to 10.45pm & Friday 11.30am to 8.00pm

Location: Laverton, VIC

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport legacy waste containers and bins
• Ensure proper handling and segregation of different waste streams according to safety regulations
• Assist in the decontamination, packaging, and storage of waste
• Assist with manual loading/unloading and waste handling
• Support general labour duties such as lifting, sorting, and facility upkeep
• Able to lift up to 25kg unassisted
